Cambridge Coaching Spotlight Meet Danielle, Our New Client Manager!

This week, we're spotlighting Danielle, our newest client manager! Danielle graduated from Rutgers with a BA in English, a program very near and dear to my heart. Fresh out of college, Danielle transitioned into the world of publishing, where she put her assisting skills to the test at Random House and Penguin. She became a social media and marketing maven at Simon and Schuster before joining us at CC. We feel deeply grateful to have her. Let's get started with the basics, Danielle. Where are you from? I grew up in Jackson, NJ right outside Six Flags Great Adventure (but I've always hated roller coasters). Otherwise, it's a very rural environment so I grew up hiking, fishing, and generally spending most of my time outside. What did you decide to study, and why? I was an English major at Rutgers University and I honestly never considered anything else. I devoured books growing up so being an English major was a natural fit. What are you up to now? How did you decide to pursue this? I'm here at Cambridge Coaching as a Client Manager and I'm thrilled to be here! Describe your perfect weekend morning. I want to become a principal investigator of a lab at a good university where I can continue doing work on the neurodegeneration field. Hopefully I can find a treatment capable of helping people with these disorders. What’s a lesson you’ve learned from teaching? My perfect weekend morning involves sleeping in and then spending a few hours reading in my sunroom with a large cup of coffee. What are three non-generic things that you're grateful for? Snow, movie marathons, and GPS What are three alternative career/life paths you have considered (even just for fun?) I've previously worked in children's book publishing, I've also considered being a flight attendant, and when I was in elementary school I wanted to be a vet! What’s the best gift you’ve ever received or given? An alarm clock that imitates the sun rising in the mornings. It's been a life saver! What is your definition of success? My definition of success is being happy with your day to day routine and the people around you! ; Want to learn more about our incredible team of tutors?
